I'll be reading an excerpt from Miles Away on stage at Bloody Scotland - Scotland's International Crime Writing Festival.
I was delighted to hear this week that my book has impressed the Bloody Scotland organisers and that they have asked me to be one of their chosen "Spotlighters".
Crime in the Spotlight is a regular feature at the festival, designed to support up-and-coming writers, and I am very proud that they have selected me.
On 17th September at 3pm, I will open one of the headline sessions. The authors following my 3-minute slot are Jeffrey Archer and Abir Mukherjee, both respected crime fiction authors with worldwide reputations. They will be in conversation for an hour, following which I will join them in a book signing. Waterstones will be stocking my book and making copies available to purchase on the day as well in their stores.
I couldn't be more pleased.
